Why North Carolina
Same ballots. Same voters. Three different outcomes.
North Carolina doesn't lean one way or another, it swings, hard, depending on which office is on the ballot. In 2024, the same electorate that gave Donald Trump the state by 3.2 points also elected a Democratic governor by 14.8 points, the widest margin and the most votes for a governor in state history, and handed the Lieutenant Governor's race to a Democrat for the first time since 2008.

That's not a red state. That's a state that's been genuinely up for grabs for nearly two decades, growing fast enough that the electorate is being rewritten every year by people who don't yet know their local officials. If we can build real, sustained Democratic infrastructure here, it proves the model works everywhere else.

County Infrastructure Fund
We invest directly in county parties and grassroots organizations across North Carolina, funding office space, staff support, tools, and the unglamorous stuff that keeps a county party running between election nights. Every county matters. This is how we prove it.
Pillar 02
Building Blue Fellows
We recruit, train, and place homegrown North Carolina talent, organizers, fundraisers, comms and digital staff, on municipal, legislative, and judicial campaigns that need them and can't afford them. Every fellow we place is another campaign that can compete, and another piece of a political bench built here, not imported.

Endorsements
The same fight we take on nationally, brought home. From Roy Cooper's Senate race to a school board seat nobody else is watching, if it's a North Carolina Democrat worth backing, we're in it.

100 County Organizing
Town halls. Meet-your-representative events. Local festivals. Most North Carolinians couldn't tell you who their local officials even are. We're changing that, one county at a time, whether that means Building Blue showing up directly or putting resources behind the local groups already doing the work.

Every cycle, some of the state's best organizers and staffers head out to work bigger-name races elsewhere, better pay, a stronger line on the resume. We don't blame them. We're building the reason to stay.
Recruit
We find organizers, fundraisers, and comms and digital talent with real potential, often people the traditional pipeline overlooks entirely.
Train
We give them the campaign skills that usually only come from working a race that can afford to teach them.
Place
We connect them to municipal, legislative, and judicial campaigns across North Carolina that need staff and couldn't otherwise afford them.
